Do you know what a metaphysical can of worms this portal is?

The other day I watched Being John Malkovich, it is such a trippy movie...I loved it! But the one thing that kinda freaked me out about is that someone sat down and decided to write a movie about a portal on the 7.5 floor of a office building with a tiny door portal that takes you inside the mind of John Malkovich. Hmm odd people, but I rather like them alot.
